Working Together for a Greener Farm Future
Farm Tyre Bring Days
Our inaugural Farm Tyre Bring Days will be held at Crossmore Tyre Recycling, Kildorrery, from 20–22 November 2025.
Farmers can recycle up to four tonnes at €50 per tonne and any additional tyres at €120 per tonne, ensuring every waste tyre is managed sustainably.
Welcoming tyre scheme expansion
Circol ELT welcomes Minister of State, Ossian Smyth’s announcement to expand the remit of the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Scheme for tyres in 2025.
The Scheme now includes all tyre categories listed in the Tyres Regulations, such as Truck & Bus, Agri, Construction and Industrial, with EMC applied to ensure traceability and proper waste management.
Circol ELT has managed over 96% of tyres placed on the Irish market in the past five years. CEO Bill Collins said, “We’re ready for this expansion and a smooth transition.”
